This advanced academic program<\/b> is available to students who are either zoned to attend R.J. Murray or have been accepted into the Center for the Arts <\/span>Criteria for the program is listed below<\/span><\/p>\n

Out of zone students who have a gifted EP can only attend Murray for gifted services if they are accepted into SJCCA.

6th, 7th, and 8th Grade<\/b> Cambridge\/Gifted<\/b><\/p>\n

Note: Students do not need to apply for Cambridge… they will be placed based on test scores, class performance and teacher recommendation.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Murray Middle School proudly offers the Cambridge Advanced Studies Program, an advanced middle school academic program sponsored by Cambridge University in England, an internationally recognized program for students in grades 6-8. Criteria for Acceptance<\/span><\/p>\n

FSA<\/b> Level 4 or 5 in reading and math <\/span><\/p>\n

Nationally normed test<\/b>\u2013 Stanine of 7, 8, or 9<\/span><\/p>\n

Grades<\/b> \u2013 Students should maintain a 2.0+ GPA in all advanced academic classes<\/span><\/p>\n

Students with Educational Plans for gifted services are <\/span> accepted based on the EP and their academic needs<\/span><\/p>\n<\/td>\n
